Around 2:03 a.m. on July 23, 2026, police officers were notified about a collision involving a pedestrian on Sepulveda Boulevard at 98th Street.
Los Angeles, CA – A pedestrian died after being struck by a bus early Thursday morning near the Los Angeles International Airport, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
Around 2:03 a.m. on July 23, 2026, police officers were notified about a collision involving a pedestrian on Sepulveda Boulevard at 98th Street.
The officers responded to the scene and learned that a bus was traveling northbound on Sepulveda Boulevard in the No. 3 lane when it hit a male pedestrian who was moving westbound across the street. The victim may have been crawling across the street.
Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The accident is being investigated by LAPD and LAX police.
