According to authorities, the man was riding a tricycle west within the traffic lane during dark hours when he was rear-ended by a pickup truck. The tricycle had no safety or reflective equipment, authorities reported.
The tricycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene. He is believed to be in his 50s.
The pickup truck driver was not hurt and cooperated with investigators.
