San Francisco, CA – One person sustained major injuries in a motorcycle collision that happened Friday afternoon on Interstate 580, the California Highway Patrol reported.

According to CHP logs, a black motorcycle and a silver Nissan Altima were involved in the wreck.
Police officers and firefighters responded to the scene and found one person with major injuries. The victim was hospitalized in unknown condition.
The vehicles were towed away from the scene. The car acquired major front-end damage in the crash.
CHP is investigating the collision.
