Bermuda Dunes, CA – A pedestrian was hospitalized with critical injuries after he was hit by a vehicle Friday morning near an intersection in Bermuda Dunes.
According to authorities, the incident occurred around 10:57 a.m. on July 10, 2026, on Washington Street and Harris Lane.
The California Highway Patrol, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, firefighters, and paramedics responded to the area and found a man with critical injuries. The patient was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the man was, for an unknown reason, standing in the roadway when he was struck by a vehicle turning from Harris Lane onto northbound Washington Street.
Investigators temporarily closed two lanes as they worked the scene.
