Lincoln County, OR – Two teens on a motorcycle collided with a police car Sunday in Lincoln County, leaving one of them seriously injured, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The incident transpired on June 28, 2026, in the 600 block of Nashville Road in the Eddyville area.

According to the sheriff’s office, an officer with the Oregon State Police Fish and Wildlife reported that he had been involved in a crash and needed a third party to investigate.

When deputies responded, they found a motorcycle and the officer’s vehicle involved in a collision.

A preliminary investigation revealed that two 13-year-olds were on a motorcycle riding across private property when they entered the roadway and crashed into the passenger side of the patrol vehicle.

Both teens were ejected from the motorcycle.

One of the teens, who was riding as a passenger, was then run over by the car on the left foot and leg. He was taken to the hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
