The Reedley man was taken to hospital where he later died.
Reedley, CA. – 81-year-old Salvador Diaz has been identified as the pedestrian who was fatally struck by a car in Reedley on Tuesday morning, June 16.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened around 5 a.m. near Fisher Avenue and Manning Avenue
Diaz was struck by a Honda Civic in unclear circumstances.
The Reedley man was taken to hospital where he later died.
The driver of the Honda Civic was evaluated at the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
