At around 3:10 a.m. June 21, authorities responded to reports of a collision in the 1600 block of North Levee Road.

Puyallup, WA – A 25-year-old pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle early Sunday morning in Puyallup, according to the Puyallup Police Department.
At around 3:10 a.m. June 21, authorities responded to reports of a collision in the 1600 block of North Levee Road.
Police reported that a man was hit by a semi-truck in the area. It’s unclear whether the victim was trying to cross the roadway when the accident occurred.
The victim was declared deceased at the site of the collision. His name was not immediately released pending notification of the next-of-kin.
The operator of the semi-truck stayed at the scene after the accident and was cooperative with law enforcement.
In addition to the Puyallup Police Department, the Metro Major Collision Response Team and the Washington State Patrol Commercial Vehicle Enforcement also responded to the scene of the accident.
Additional details on the crash were not immediately released. The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
