Butte County, CA – Several people were injured in a car accident that happened at an intersection in Butte County on Friday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported in the area of Highway 162 and Agua Frias Road on Friday, June 19.

After evaluation, authorities confirmed that there were seven people injured in the accident.
Two people were airlifted to Enloe Medical Center while two other patients were transported by ground ambulances.
There was no update on the conditions of the patients who were taken to hospital.
The accident caused backups as nearly 15 vehicles got stuck near the intersection. The CHP urged motorists to avoid the area as authorities investigated and cleared the scene.
