According to preliminary reports, a woman was walking across Glen Donegal Drive outside of the crosswalk when she was hit by an eastbound sedan.

San Jose, CA– Authorities are investigating an auto-pedestrian collision that left one person dead early Friday morning in East San Jose, according to the San Jose Police Department.
The accident took place at around 6:30 a.m. on June 12, near Glen Donegal Drive and Glen Ferguson Court.
According to preliminary reports, a woman was walking across Glen Donegal Drive outside of the crosswalk when she was hit by an eastbound sedan.
The woman was declared deceased at the scene of the accident. The victim’s identity was not immediately released by the authorities.
The woman who was driving the sedan stayed at the scene and was cooperative with the investigators.
There were no reports of impairment being a factor in the collision and no arrests were made.
