Romoland, CA – An 18-year-old man was killed following a crash involving three off-road vehicles in the Romoland area of unincorporated Menifee Sunday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Bureau identified the deceased party as Ivan Zenteno, 18, of Homeland
Investigators said Zenteno was riding a Yamaha ATV on a dirt roadway in a rural, hilly area when, for reasons still under investigation, his vehicle collided with two other ATVs.
Zenteno was ejected during the collision and died at the scene. Authorities said it was not immediately known whether he was wearing a safety helmet at the time of the crash. No other injuries were reported.
Officials said alcohol and drugs are not suspected to have played a role in the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
