Hanford, CA – At least one person was killed following a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on State Route 43 in Hanford Friday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The fatal crash occurred at approximately 4:47 p.m. on northbound State Route 43 just south of Lansing Avenue.

CHP logs indicate the collision involved a black Dodge Ram pickup truck and a motorcycle. Authorities reported that both vehicles sustained major front-end damage in the crash. Investigators have not yet released details regarding how the collision occurred.

At least one person was killed in the Hanford crash. CHP logs also indicated that an elderly male occupant inside the Dodge Ram was trapped in the vehicle following the collision. Information regarding additional injuries or possible arrests was not immediately available.

Emergency crews, including Kings County fire personnel, responded to the scene shortly after the collision was reported. Authorities requested expedited tow services for both damaged vehicles as investigators processed evidence at the crash site.
