Two male passengers suffered major injuries and were taken to hospital where one died.

San Francisco, CA. – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision early Saturday morning in San Francisco’s SoMa district.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 1 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 80 near 7th Street.
A gray Chevrolet Camaro was traveling eastbound when it made an illegal lane change to the right and collided with the tractor-trailer.
Both vehicles crashed into the sand barrels at the top of the 7th Street off-ramp. The Camaro continued and launched over the off-ramp railing, dropped about 24 feet and landed upside down on top of a car in the San Francisco Police Department impound parking lot.
The 18-year-old male driver of the Camaro and his front passenger, a 17-year-old male, were transported to hospital with moderate injuries.
The two rear passengers, both 18-year-old men, suffered major injuries and were taken to hospital where one died.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
