San Francisco, CA. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in San Francisco’s Mission District early Monday morning.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, the accident happened around 12:13 a.m. in the area of 16th and Mission streets.
A vehicle reportedly struck four pedestrians in unclear circumstances.
One pedestrian was treated by medics at the scene before being taken to a nearby hospital where they later died.
The other three pedestrians were treated at the scene and released.
Police said they later located the suspect vehicle and detained the driver. Charges against the driver were not immediately determined.
