According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred around 1:40 a.m. on May 15 at Highland Avenue and Third Street.

Two People Hospitalized after Car Collision at Los Angeles Intersection

Los Angeles, CA – Two people were critically hurt in a two-vehicle collision that happened early Friday morning at an intersection in the Hancock neighborhood of Los Angeles.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred around 1:40 a.m. on May 15 at Highland Avenue and Third Street.

A black Hyundai and a gray Honda collided for an unknown reason. One of the cars crashed into a wall, and the other struck a light pole.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded and freed one person trapped inside the Hyundai.

Two people were rushed to the hospital in critical condition, the report said.

Debris from the violent collision was scattered across the intersection.

LAPD is investigating the accident.
