Investigators reported that a Ford F-250 towing a boat collided with a motorcycle on the southbound side of the freeway

Castaic, CA – At least one person was injured in a collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle on the 5 Freeway in Castaic on Wednesday afternoon, according to California Highway Patrol logs.
The wreck took place at around 1:15 p.m. April 22, on the southbound freeway south of Hasley Canyon Road.
Investigators reported that a Ford F-250 towing a boat collided with a motorcycle on the southbound side of the freeway.
The CHP and the Los Angeles County Fire Department crews immediately responded to the scene and attended to a patient injured in the incident.
The patient was then transported to a hospital for further treatment. The identities of the involved parties were not immediately released.
It’s unclear whether speed or impairment played any role in the accident and no arrests were announced.
The southbound lanes of the 5 Freeway were temporarily blocked as authorities conducted an investigation into the crash.
The California Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into the incident.
