Arden-Arcade, CA – Four people were hospitalized after being involved in a crash involving two vehicles near an intersection in Arden-Arcade on Monday night.
According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, the incident took place in the area of Fulton Avenue and Maison Way on Monday, April 20.
Preliminary reports indicate that two vehicles were involved in the accident, whose cause was not immediately established. Some people were trapped in the wreckage after the collision.
The California Highway Patrol officers and firefighters responded to the accident and worked to extricate the trapped parties. Medics attended to four people injured in the collision.
According to SFMD, medics transported the four patients to a hospital for further treatment. One of the patients had critical injuries while the other three were treated for minor injuries.
It’s unclear whether alcohol or drugs were factors in the accident. There were no reports of any arrests in connection with the incident.
The California Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation to establish the cause of the accident.
