Hollister, CA – At least one person died, and two others were injured in a head-on collision that transpired early Tuesday morning in Hollister.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred around 5:25 a.m. on Shore Road near Highway 25.
A 2014 Honda Accord, a 2014 GMC Sierra, and a 2025 Chevrolet pickup truck with a utility bed were involved in the collision.
The driver of the GMC truck called authorities, reporting that they were hit head-on by another vehicle. The driver of the Chevrolet truck also called authorities, reporting that their vehicle was clipped by another car.
The San Benito Sheriff’s Office, firefighters, and paramedics responded to the scene.
At least one person died in the accident.
At least two other victims sustained unknown injuries.
Shore Road was closed at Highway 25, at Frazier Lake Road, and at San Felipe Road during the rescue operation and an on-scene investigation.
Authorities are collecting more information to determine the cause of the accident.
