Santa Clarita, CA – Authorities are investigating a crash involving a mail truck that left two people injured in Santa Clarita on Monday afternoon.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the wreck took place on Propello and Alecer drives at about 12:30 p.m. April 6.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a red sedan collided with the mail truck. The events leading up to the accident were yet to be established. Authorities said a pedestrian was involved in the accident.

The postal worker, who was delivering mail at a nearby mailbox, was injured in the accident. The worker and a second party were transported to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
