Los Angeles, CA – One person was sent to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision caused one of the cars to crash into a library on Monday morning in the Wilmington neighborhood of Los Angeles.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the incident was reported around 11:43 a.m., March 30, in the 100 block of East M Street at North Avalon Boulevard.

Two cars collided in the area under unclear circumstances. One of the vehicles crashed into a structure hosting a library.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported one person to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the cause of the collision.
