Atwater, CA – One person was sent to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision that happened Monday afternoon in Atwater.

According to California Highway Patrol logs, the wreck was reported around 4:28 p.m. on March 30 on the southbound State Route 99, just south of Applegate Road.

A black Nissan Maxima and a gray Honda were involved in the collision.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and transported one person to the hospital with unknown injuries.

CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
