Around 5:18 a.m. on March 20, CHP officers and emergency personnel responded to the eastbound Interstate 580 at the Bayview Avenue off-ramp, where several vehicles were involved in a collision.
Six vehicles, including a box truck and a bus, were involved in the collision under unclear circumstances.
Minor injuries were sustained in the crash, but the exact number of patients remained unknown. It was also unclear if anyone was hospitalized.
CHP is investigating the collision.
