Bowie County, TX. – Connie Stevens, 70, has been identified as the woman who died in a car crash in De Kalb on Friday night.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 8 p.m. on Highway 82.
A white 2000 Toyota Corolla was traveling west on Highway 82 when the driver veered out of their lane and headed into oncoming traffic, hitting multiple other cars.
Stevens, a resident of Avery, Texas, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other drivers were transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
A juvenile passenger in one of the other cars was also injured and was taken to hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
