Vacaville, CA. – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Saturday morning in Vacaville.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 8 a.m. at the intersection of Byrnes Road and Hawkins Road.

A silver Toyota sedan was traveling south on Byrnes Road when it was broadsided by a silver Dodge pickup truck traveling east on Hawkins Road.

The 25-year-old woman driving the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Dodge was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.
