Hayward, CA. – At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Monday morning in Hayward.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 5:48 a.m. on Interstate 580 Freeway near Grove Way.
Officers who responded to the incident found four vehicles at the scene. The events leading up to the collision, however, were not immediately determined.
One person suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
