San Fernando Valley, CA – A Sunday night collision involving a box truck left two people injured near the Sun Valley neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The wreck happened in the 9800 block of N. Glenoaks Boulevard at about 7:30 p.m. February 1.
According to a preliminary investigation, a black SUV and a box truck were involved in the accident.
Police and the LAFD responded to the incident and located the SUV behind the the box truck.
Firefighters had to extricate one person from one of the vehicles. Two women with serious injuries were transported by medics to a hospital for treatment.
The 18-year-old driver of the box truck was evaluated by medics at the scene and declined medical transport.
At this time, no additional details on the incident have been released. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
