Fallbrook, CA – Two people were hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Thursday evening in Fallbrook, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred around 7:08 p.m. on the northbound Interstate 15 near State Route 76.
A Ford Escape and a Kia Optima were involved in the collision. Airbags were deployed in one of the cars. Debris from the crash was scattered in traffic lanes.
Firefighters and paramedics responded and transported two people to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Both vehicles were towed away from the collision.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
