Sacramento, CA. – Four children were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Saturday evening in Sacramento.

According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, the accident happened around 6:20 p.m. at Watt Avenue and El Camino Avenue.

Multiple vehicles were involved in the collision.

Metro Fire firefighters arrived at the scene and found four juvenile patients.

The victims, ages 2, 4, 9, and 13, were transported to a local hospital. One patient had moderate injuries, and three had minor injuries.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
