Los Feliz, CA – The man who was killed in a deadly multi-vehicle collision that took place on the Golden State (5) Freeway in Los Feliz early Sunday morning has been identified by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
28-year-old Moses Jimenez was killed in the collision that was reported at about 3:20 a.m. January 18, on the northbound freeway at Los Feliz Boulevard.
According to the authorities, several vehicles were involved in the accident in the northbound lanes of the Freeway. The circumstances under which the vehicles crashed were not immediately established.
The California Highway Patrol officers and fire crews were dispatched to the scene shortly after receiving reports of the incident.
One person, later identified as Jimenez, was ejected from one of the vehicles. He was declared deceased at the scene. A 28-year-old man was hospitalized with serious injuries.
Two 22-year-old men, a 35-year-old man, and a 61-year-old man were all transported to a hospital and were said to be in stable condition.
