CHP reports indicate the collision involved a white Ford Mustang and a gray Toyota sedan. Initial calls described a multi-vehicle traffic collision, later clarified as a two-vehicle crash. One party was reported unable to exit their vehicle, and airbags were deployed in at least one of the cars, raising concern for possible head injuries.

At least one person sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment. No fatalities were reported, and the CHP log did not indicate that any arrests were made in connection with the crash.
