Madera, CA – A driver was injured in a solo crash in Madera on Friday, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened on Highway 152 on Friday, December 26.
According to the investigators, a driver traveling on the highway lost control and drifted off the roadway. The vehicle went up an embankment and slammed into the overcrossing.
The driver reported that the car had a mechanical failure and caused him to crash. Authorities have not confirmed whether mechanical fault played a role in the incident.
The motorist was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident and sustained only minor injuries.
No additional details were immediately provided. The California Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
