Silver Lake, CA – Two Los Angeles Police Department officers were hurt when a patrol car was struck by another vehicle in Silver Lake early Saturday morning.
The two-vehicle collision happened just before 2:25 a.m. December 20, on Sunset Boulevard and Parkman Avenue.
Authorities reported that a Porsche crashed with the LAPD patrol car in the area. Information on what caused the collision was not available.
The officers from the department’s East Division responded to the incident. The two involved officers were transported to a hospital and their injuries were not believed to be major.
There were no arrests made in connection with the accident. The Porsche driver remained at the scene after the accident.
