Santa Rosa, CA – At least one person was injured following a two-vehicle head-on collision on Bennett Valley Road in Santa Rosa early Friday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred on Bennett Valley Road near Gardner Ranch Road at approximately 12:39 p.m. on November 21, according to the CHP incident log.
According to CHP, a Jeep and a white Honda collided head-on, leaving at least one of the vehicles blocking the roadway. Officers responded and confirmed the incident as a major-injury, two-vehicle collision.
At least one person suffered major injuries in the crash. No fatalities or arrests were reported.
Both vehicles blocked the roadway for a period as officers managed traffic and arranged for clearing operations. By 1:58 p.m., CHP reported that both lanes had been reopened.
The incident remains under investigation.
