Fremont, CA – One person was killed in a solo-car collision on Thornton Avenue in Fremont early Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The crash occurred on the Thornton Avenue on-ramp to northbound Interstate 880 at approximately 12:08 AM.
According to CHP reports, a Honda Civic crashed into the left-hand shoulder of the ramp. Emergency units, including coroner and fire personnel, were dispatched to the scene to assist with the accident and traffic management. The ramp was blocked as multiple units responded.
