Los Angeles, CA. – One person died in a collision involving a pedestrian that happened Friday evening in Los Angeles’ West Rancho Dominguez area.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place around 7:22 p.m. near East 139th Street and Avalon Boulevard.

A white 4-door Mazda 3 reportedly hit a pedestrian and then continued and collided with a truck.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene shortly after the accident.

One person was killed in the accident.

Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
