Lake Elsinore, CA. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a suspected drunk driver early Saturday morning in Lake Elsinore.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 1 a.m. at Dexter Avenue and 11th Street.
A pedestrian was reportedly struck by a vehicle in unclear circumstances.
The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital, where they later died.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
