Citrus Heights, CA.- A man was critically hurt in a single-vehicle accident in Citrus Heights on Monday morning, according to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District.
The incident took place on San Juan Avenue and Sylvan Road on October 6.
According to the authorities, a man was driving near the intersection when he crashed into a tree.
It’s unclear what caused the driver to hit the tree.
The Citrus Heights Police Department and Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District responded to the scene and performed CPR on the driver.
The driver was then transported to a hospital with critical injuries.
Police are working to determine the cause of the accident.
