Surprise, AZ.- One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Surprise on Saturday morning.
According to the Surprise Police Department, the incident was reported at about 11 a.m. October 4, on Loop 303 near Sarival Avenue.
A 70-year-old man is believed to have experienced a medical emergency just prior to the crash.
The two drivers were transported to a hospital, where the 70-year-old succumbed to his injuries.
There was no update on the condition of the second driver.
Authorities are working to determine the cause of the accident.
