San Marcos, CA. — An 80-year-old woman lost her life early Monday morning after her vehicle overturned on San Marcos Boulevard, authorities reported.
According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred just after 3 a.m. in the 500 block of San Marcos Boulevard.
For reasons still under investigation, the woman’s car rolled over near Palomar College. Emergency responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
Deputies reported that no witnesses have been identified, and it remains unclear what caused the rollover.
Investigators are also working to determine whether alcohol or drugs played any role in the crash.
