Wallowa County, OR – One person was killed in a solo-vehicle accident in Wallowa County on Thursday morning, according to Oregon State Police.
The OSP identified the deceased man as Ryan Bonivert, 42, of Clarkston.
The deadly crash happened on September 11 on State Route 3, near milepost 2.
Investigators said a Dodge 2500, operated by Bonivert, left the roadway, for unknown reasons, and rolled about 500 feet down an embankment.
Bonivert was ejected from the vehicle as it rolled down the embankment and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The highway was not impacted during the on-scene investigations.
No further details were available.
The crash remains under investigation.
