Douglas County, OR – The Oregon State Police have identified Justin Jay Little, 42),of Cypress (CA) as cyclist killed in a crash in Douglas County last week early Thursday morning.
According to the police report, the deadly wreck was reported at around 2:27 a.m. on July 31, on Interstate 31 near milepost 133.
Investigators revealed that a black Toyota Tundra driven by Thomas Lee Sodders, 66, of Roseburg, was traveling southbound on the freeway near Sutherlin when it struck Little, who was in the fast lane.
Little was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sodders had suffered minor injuries and was not transported while the passenger in the Tundra, Christine Ann Graham, 62, of Roseburg, was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.
The highway was impacted for about four hours during the on-scene investigation.

Douglas County, OR – The Oregon State Police is investigating a deadly vehicle versus bicycle fatal crash that happened on Interstate 5 in Douglas County early Thursday.
The deadly collision happened on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 2:27 a.m. on Interstate 5 near milepost 133, near Sutherlin.
According to OSP, a black Toyota Tundra was heading southbound on I-5 near Sutherlin when it struck a California bicyclist who was in the fast lane for an unknown reason.
The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Tundra suffered minor injuries and was not transported. A passenger in the Tundra was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The freeway was shut down for about 4 hours as crews worked at the scene.
