Bellevue, WA. – An 18-year-old motorcyclist died after colliding with a car in Bellevue on Friday night.

The fatal accident happened around 9:40 p.m. at the intersection of NE 8th Street and 116th Avenue Northeast, according to the Bellevue Police Department.

The man was riding a motorcycle at a high rate of speed when he collided with a westbound vehicle at the intersection.

Bellevue Fire crews attempted life-saving measures on the rider, but the man succumbed to his injuries at the accident scene.

The driver of the vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
