Workman was transported to Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley where he died while receiving treatment
Phelan, CA. – 39-year-old Joshua Workman, of Pinon Hills, has been identified as the motorcyclist who died in a collision on Thursday afternoon.
According to the police, the accident happened around 1:26 p.m. in the 3700 block of Phelan Road, in front of El Patron Family Restaurant.
Workman was riding a 2018 Harley-Davidson Street Glide westbound when he collided with a black Honda Civic that was preparing to make a left turn onto Lebec Road.
Workman was transported to Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley where he died while receiving treatment.
The female driver of the Honda was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
