Stanton, CA. – At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Stanton early Monday morning, according to the authorities.

The incident took place at about 2:15 a.m. March 31, on Orangewood Avenue and Beach Boulevard.

According to the report, a driver of a Nissan Altima was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed in the area when it slammed into four Orange County Sheriff’s Office vehicles parked near a gas station.

The deputies were working a fire when the incident happened.

The driver of the Nissan was temporarily trapped in the wreckage and was rescued emergency crews.

At least one person was transported with unspecified injuries.

The deputies and firefighters at the scene were uninjured.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
