Concord, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a traffic accident that happened Friday morning in Concord, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred around 8:40 a.m. on westbound State Route 4, just west of the Willow Pass Road off-ramp.
The collision involved a Chevrolet Silverado 1500, a minivan, and possibly two other cars. Airbags were deployed in the pickup truck.
Contra Costa County firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene.
One person was transported to the hospital with the complaint of pain to the back and neck.
The pickup truck and the minivan were towed away from the scene.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
