Brentwood, CA. – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a traffic collision that happened Tuesday afternoon in Brentwood, resulting in minor injuries.
Authorities said the accident occurred around 4:28 p.m. on westbound State Route 4, just west of Lone Tree Way.
CHP officers responded to the scene and found a white Ford van and a maroon Nissan Versa involved in the crash.
One person suffered minor injuries in the crash. Contra Costa firefighters responded to the scene and transported the victim to Sutter Delta Medical Center for treatment.
The cause of the crash will be established when authorities conclude their investigation.
