Los Angeles, CA – One person was killed in a Monday night pedestrian crash on Interstate 10 in Los Angeles.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck happened at around 8:34 p.m. on March 3, on the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway, just east of La Brea Avenue.

A vehicle struck a pedestrian in the area for unknown reasons.

The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the crash site.

The CHP issued a SigAlert closing three lanes of the westbound freeway for approximately two hours to investigate the cause of the collision.
