According to the Yuma Police Department, the mishap happened at around 5:22 p.m. on February 16 at Avenue 3 East and 88th Street (County 18th Street).
Yuma, AZ – Two male drivers, ages, 33 and 44, were hospitalized after a Sunday evening collision on Avenue 3 East in Yuma.
According to the Yuma Police Department, the mishap happened at around 5:22 p.m. on February 16 at Avenue 3 East and 88th Street (County 18th Street).
A preliminary investigation revealed a southbound 2018 Dodge Durango on Avenue 3 East driven by 33-year-old man, attempt to make a left turn onto 88th Street and was hit by a southbound 2012 Dodge Ram truck operated by 44-year-old man as he was trying to pass from the left side.
The impact sent the truck to leave the roadway, slammed into a power pole, and roll.
Authorities said both drivers suffered minor injuries and were transported to Onvida Health for treatment.
The incident remains under investigation.
