Fresno, CA. – Two students were injured in a collision involving a school bus on Thursday morning in Madera County.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at the intersection of Avenue 12 and Road 32 at around 7:20 a.m.

A Golden Valley Unified School District bus had been traveling northbound on Road 32 and was stopped at the stop sign at Avenue 12.

A big rig crashed into an SUV, causing the SUV to then crash into the left side of the school bus.

Two students on the bus were injured in the accident and were taken to Valley Children’s Hospital for treatment.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
