Candace Rios was taken to Kern Medical where she died the following day
Bakersfield, CA. – Candace Lorraine Rios, 72, has been identified as the pedestrian who died after being struck by a car last week in Tehachapi.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 9:24 p.m. on northbound Highway 202, just north of Cummings Valley Road.
The woman was walking in the area and was hit by a car.
The woman was taken to Kern Medical where she died the following day, according to the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
