Winton woman killed in collision at Avenue 7 1/2 and Avenue 7 in Madera
Madera, CA. – A 40-year-old Winton woman was killed in a car crash on Wednesday morning in Madera.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 10:18 a.m. at Avenue 7 1/2 and Avenue 7.
A Nissan was traveling westbound on Avenue 7 when it failed to stop at a stop sign and was hit by a Ford F-250 truck traveling eastbound on Avenue 7 1/2.
The 40-year-old Winton woman driving the Nissan was killed in the accident.
The truck driver was unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
